  King of a home

  feeling like royalty ever since we moved into King's Mansion! not just the name... the location is fantastic esp now with the new MRT lines... literally a red carpet outside my entrance! ECP also within walking dist thru the underpass, so weekend cycling has become our regular family activity. probably one of the most convenient condos in the east now??? coooooool. we eat like a KING too, lots of good food in the area not just the laksa but other yummy foods. many schools and cafes in the area as well. what a perfect place.

  practical layouts from 1980

  King's Mansion: this freehold condo at Tanjong Katong Road was completed in 1980. it's almost 50 years old. but from that era, the layouts really made more sense, and are more spacious with less wasted space. the cross ventilation is also excellent, not stuffy at all and most afternoons there's a nice breeze. actually, for a senior condo, the facilities are surprisingly complete. Olympic-sized swimming pool (first thing visitors usually comment on is the size of the swimming pool. It's huge compared to many newer developments), tennis court, basketball court, badminton court, gym, playground and even table tennis. also got vending machines around too, for those sudden late night cravings or on those lazy days. we like to look at the little fishies in the goldfish pond, esp my little ones..

  enjoy the location

  location of King's Mansion is a huge plus point. can do without a car. malls like Parkway Parade, i12 Katong and plenty of food places are all within walking dist. nothing to complain in this aspect. MRT is just outside the condo, East Coast Park is a short walk away and Katong has endless food choices. Neighbourhood is also great for families because there are several good schools nearby. often see children playing around after school and the atmosphere feels very homely. condo may already be quite old but it's very well maintained.

  One of the best rental till date

  King's mansion is one of the best rental unit we lived in till date. The security guards are friendly, facilities are well-kept, common areas are clean, neighbours are nice. We still miss the good ol' days living there

  Nice condo but management is very harsh and restrictive - takes all the fun out of living there. Lots of kids in condo but children are not allowed to play any games in gardens except on very small 1/4 basketball court.
