epicentre of all
J Gateway is at the epicentre of it all. Jurong East MRT is only a few mins walk and all the malls like JEM, Westgate, IMM and Big Box are practically at doorstep. After work I can grab dinner, do grocery shopping and head home easily. In a way considered prime area so downside is the unit is abit compact, especially the bedrooms and storage space. But that's expected for newer condos nowadays in dense populated space. Might get noisy with MRT and malls and heavy foot traffic around. See what trade-off you can make but the convenience is ultimate. -

generally nice facilities
facilities at J Gateway are generally good, particularly the sky garden which has fantastic views over Jurong at night. often book the BBQ pit at sky garden as sheltered and great for gatherings. actually, the pool is larger than I expected and usually not too crowded during weekday mornings. I use the 50m pool almost every week. however, the gym is rather small and during peak hours maybe cannot squeeze in my workout, and the lifts can get very busy during peak times as well. in any case, the condo is very well maintained, especially the gardens and landscaping. -

suits my dual needs well
Bought J Gateway when it first launched, alternate between own stay and renting out as I often go overseas for long business trips. it's been a very easy place to rent out because of the location. There are so many offices around International Business Park and now Jurong keeps developing even more. when I'm living here, it is also very practical. With MRT, bus interchange and almost every shop I need are within walking distance. one of the icon in Jurong. -

ultra close to transport hub
love this J Gateway condo ever since it was built. super accessible to the main transport hub of Jurong East, which is near all the malls, mrt, bus interchange (integrated transpt hub), town centre and even offices. just a quick walk to get my groceries, run my errands and can go home. easier to travel around to town or even to east side, rather than taking a feeder bus from my previous address in jurong west. worth the exceptional convenience. -

dilligent team
kudos to the horticulture team at J Gateway for ensuring the flora and fauna are maintained for a nice landscaped walk through the condo. they really level up the nice environment here and makes even my short walk from apartment to main gate a pleasant start to my day that i looking forward to! -

just the right size
my unit at J Gateway is just the right size for me and my partner, though I think they tend to be a bit too compact for large families. this is an appropriate trade-off for the prime location of this space, which is smack dab in the middle of the busy Jurong hub, said to be our 2nd CBD in the west. we are directly opposite big malls like Westgate, IMM, Jem (which has a donki supermarket and ntuc hypermart). there are also an incredible number of food options, both inside the malls and in the coffeeshops around. -

Small and slow lifts
There are only two lifts and one is visitor lift, the lifts are small and take forever to come down. If you’re visiting it’s a nightmare to take the lift. Beware of the not so friendly security team. -

mgmt improved
had some issues some time back and I see slowly but surely the management of J Gateway did their best to try to address them and now works hard to maintain building cleanliness and proactive upkeep. security is strict but it's for a good reason as the condo is at a very busy location just opposite West Gate mall and JE mrt. this stops the people who like to come in to use our carpark who are not residents but becos Westgate is too crowded ! -

convenience in sg's 2nd CBD
units of J Gateway are compact in this dense part of Jurong, but win with convenient access to the four jurong shopping malls especially Westgate and Jem, and MRT. abit pricey but worthy tradeoff imo. especially if you live, work play in this area -

transport hub
Jurong is now building the Integrated Transport Hub at Jurong East, right opposite where J Gateway condo is. the temporary inconvenience and noise will become a wonderful faciliity when it is completed in 2027/2028. the management always keeps us updated on the construction process, which is very thoughtful of them. expect property price to go up too. -
