    Great value

    the value here is in the flat size because they are old condos. the 4 bedrooms on one level are huge with a large balcony - these almost don't exist any more. we rent now and want to buy because these 4 bedrooms are increasingly rare in the central area and in demand for rental and to purchase.

    expensive cos it's making money

    this is the most affordable property in the very expensive dover/buona vista area. i don't have to go into details why this area is so expensive because if u drive around this area, u'll know straight away why it's so expensive. it's close to 2 MRT stations, the biopolis biz hubs and 2 universities (INSEAD and NUS), plus other schools like ACS, ACJC, SP. Entertainment wise, there's rochester park and star vista. It's also quiet. However, it's NOT NEW. It's a 99-year property and it has already used up 20 years of its lease. This explains why it's the most affordable property in the dover area. I think this is a great investment if u're considering the rental returns, because this property is very much in demand and never short of tenants. Whenever one leaves after the tenancy is expired, another new one takes over immediately - almost no vacancy period. A walk around the lounges and 3 pool areas and u'll find expats from france, japan, korea, india, china, britain, etc. all professionals from nearby biopolis, grad students from INSEAD and educators from NUS. having seen the interiors, i would recommend the 3-bedroom units as they are squarish and spacious. Great for landlords, not so great for families seeking freehold properties.

    Expensive ??

    Many units of slightly less than 1000 sqft are calling close to $ 1400 sqft, are these for real ?? a very dated Condo both interiors and exterior plus a leasehold of almost 20 years gone, Expensive but is it over price ?? I leave it to the market to tell me.

    Lizard Condo??

    Full of lizards and facilities and common areas are worst maintained condo probably in Singapore? Not worth the money they are asking for renting this place..

    Pleasant Landscape and Pools...!

    We found the area is quiet and the resort style landscape is nice and pleasant. They have 4 separate pools with different themes, very suitable for family with children. There is 24 hours Sheng Shiong within 5 minutes walk and the eye catching Star Vista mall nearby...we have been watching the unit to buy but the price keep going up...! Envy the people who own the unit there...:(

    Cozy but Not Good Value for Money Anymore

    Viewed several units. But we did not buy eventually. I agreed that the place feels resort-y & cozy. The monthly maintenance is also reasonable. It has ample car parks. Ghim Moh wet market is 15 mins walk away. Near schools. But there is all to it. Its 99 lease hold (TOP in 1998). It is 10 mins of unsheltered walk under the hot sun to MRT. It is pretty run down except the children pool looks new. It overlooks Dover HDB. Current asking PSF is way too expensive for a old D5 leasehold unit. Better off with a brand new Estuary@Yishun condo (next to MRT, PSF$900 range, opposite reservoir) or a walk up apartment in the edge of D9. We did see several ground floor units; but forgot to check for termites. Those we viewed are pretty dark and wind-less. The patio also needs much pruning. In fact, the exterior cracks pretty bad. OK for retirement or rental income; not recommended own stay.

    Run down

    Very poor interior conditions, most of the units I have seen have crack walls, facilities rather old and as place is a rather old, many things start to fall apart. Definitely not worthy the investment.

    Most value-for-money condo in this vicinity!

    Having lived in Dover area for a while,I especilly like Dover Parkview and Heritage View. Let me make a comparison and recommendation. To those who are looking for tranquility/serenity, you may seriouly consider Dover Parkview. Reasons being, for almost the same rental, you get bigger unit, better layout, less crowd at common facility, and higher ceiling!!! The highere ceiling really improves the air circulation and making the rooms a tad cooler and less stuffy. I really love this place. May you enjoy Singapore and Dover as much as you can! Cheers.

    not worth the price

    Old condo, not maintained well. Need a good deal of work in the exterior. Bedrooms are of a decent size, but needs a lot of renovation. Doors and fittings are of poor quality. The interior seems that of the late 60s style, although TOP was 1998. Definately not worth the asking price of 950/sqft. Recommend a pass on this condo, not worth the expense of renovation cost and maintainance fee of 300+.
