older vs newer, stronger vs near
Stayed at Clementi Park for almost 10 years and honestly can't imagine moving to a newer condo. Are we weird? Hear me out. The biggest difference is the space. The apartment is huge compared to today's launches and the estate itself feels like a country club. Every morning I wake up to birds chirping instead of traffic noise. Beat that. There are lots of mature trees, walking paths and even a little hill inside the condo for evening strolls. My kids practically grew up cycling around the estate and surrounded by nature. We learnt how to enjoy walking and gained stronger legs as bus stop is further away. Rely on shuttle bus or cab when weather is being horrid. My 2 cents! -

parked away from hustle
Clementi Park its probably the quietest condo I've lived in Singapore. genuinely feels tucked away in a "forest" (actually park), with two lovely swimming pools and plenty of greenery around. I enjoy jogging around the internal paths before work and the estate never feels crowded despite almost 500 units. apartment space much larger than newer devs in the area too. The only inconvenience is transport. Without a car, I really have to depend on the condo shuttle or a fairly long walk to the nearest bus stop. I got used to it fairly quickly... not hard in walkable Sg. nice to be away from the hustle -

old school charm
wanted space and Clementi Park fit the bill. Condo has abit of an old school charm which I really love. Facilities are enough for us - tennis court, squash, gym and 2 swimming pools. Common areas are clean although some parts do show their age. One funny thing is visitors always get lost because the block numbering can be quite confusing... okay once used to it. so i always send them location pin first or meet at outside gate (if delivery i send helper to guardhouse cos easier). no flashy new facilities because it's old. strongly rec for fellow greenery, peace lovers. this condo is really quite special. -

Has its good points, but...
I've lived here for two years. Like most older estates (of which few survive), the grounds are expansive, the units large and sensibly configured, and the walls thick. The estate's main drawback is its remoteness from the public transit grid. If you don't mind walking or biking in the Singapore heat, it's not too bad---except when it rains. But if you depend on public transport, this is probably not the place for you. No bus plies Sunset Way, and the nearest bus stop is on Clementi Ave 6, which really just gets you to Clementi Station. The condo shuttle is a bit of a joke, costing $2.50 per ride, and not running at 11am or 4pm. Note also that units in Block 137 face the busiest highway in Singapore, hidden by a belt of trees that does nothing to mitigate the incessant roar of traffic. -

Clementi Park may be 40 years old but i love this freehold condo's older-style bigger layouts that many newer properties don't have despite its unique layout that I like to tell my friend is pie/fan shaped -

tranquility at sunset way
not near Clementi MRT but that's okay. can enjoy the greenery, views and quiet peaceful environment at Clementi Park condo without the noisy MRT area. besides, so convenient to take bus few stops only, and close to Clementi Woods park -

facilities at Clementi Park
enjoy full facilities here like gym, tennis court, pool etc nice development in the early days of CDL in neighbourhood of sunset way that's near supermarket, charming shops etc. -

Great open spaces
Huge area so great if you have kids and/ or pets, quiet and secluded for Singapore. Got some really good sized units too, over 2k sq ft, if you want space. Walk ups is an issue for moving in, but if you don't mind a great place to live. -

Beautiful greenery but you need a car
Beautiful vast landscape, large units. Rare to find such airy & unblocked units these days. Most of the apartments are walk-ups except for 135 & 137 carriage house type which have lifts. Only minus is you need a car as it takes 15mins to walk to the main road. -

Badly managed, lazy maintenance
Grounds in common areas have potholes that breed mosquitoes. Leaking ceilings unfixed even after months. Overgrown foliage with rats infestation. Bad attitude from some MCST workers. Just mostly quiet and “ulu” -
