Caspian

think about Greenery
It is simple to invest a property near Jurong, thinking along this line. 1.if you like green and closer to mrt, and yet not to be too busy with human traffic. 2. there are not many properties which is very close to green, such as botanical garden, and future amazing park at Jurong lake area. These are the concrete points, ignored all other noise. 3. focus on price and proximity to the MRT station. coz, you still can find a unit away from the train track. 4. High price for mass market
Those units facing the road and MRT track are best to be avoided if you are looking to house your family and looking for some peace. I would advise people to wait for the prices to cool further to perhaps $800psf before jumping in to buy.Was this review helpful? Report review -

Good family orient develop. wth grt potential
I have stayed at Caspian for almost a year now and I am completely satisfied and happy with my choice Pros- 1)Nice modern look 2)superb facilities with several BBQ pits and one of the best swimming pool 3)Online booking for facilities/ friendly management and low maintenance fee 4) New JEM mall/IMM/Jurong point mall all 1 bus stop away, besides there being a lake right in front for morning jogs 5)Lakeside MRT is a 3 min walk 6)Family oriented project and you can always relax in the balcony and sleep peacefully :) Cons: 1) Wet market is not close by and the closest 711 is near the MRT 2) i suspect that traffic in the area will increase upon completion of Jurong hospital and other office buildings nearby.Was this review helpful? Excellent layout, finishing and investment
I just bought a unit at Caspian after much review and I must say the interiors and building layout is excellent. Having stayed at luxury homes at Orchard, the project is quite comparable. Its also easily accessible to Canadian international school for my kids. With the broader lakeside locality growth, it makes a sensible investment. Overpriced for a mass market project
I went to view a 3 br unit a few days a ago. The pool area is the std mass makt project but not as impressive as Lakeshore although caspian looked more spacious. The fitting and finishing of the interior look outdated and not grand. The unit is asking for $1,050 psf, definitly overpriced for such a far away corner of the island. With only a slightly higher psf, I rather buy a unit in district 19 which is nearer to city and there are more projects next to MRT to chose from.Was this review helpful? Report review -

The only plus point is near to MRT
I have been staying around Lakeside MRT area for more than 10 years. The only plus point of Caspian is MRT, but the location is lacking of other amenities. There is no shops, foodcourt and wet market nearby. The neareat maybe is at Street 51 which is rather far away. For those who driving, there is only one road to exit. When Lakefront is up, imangine that the cars from both projects will use the same exit and it will definitely jammed during the peak hours. Compare to it, I found Lakeshore is a better location as it is quite central in the middle of mrt, school and shops. I need to emphasized that I am staying in Lakeshore, in fact I wished that too.Was this review helpful? Report review -

Worth the price in the long term
Consider the project in the long term, as said in a chinese idiom, use a long line to catch a big fish. although it takes time but it will be worth the wait. moreover, with the government's intention to open up the west area, i'm sure there will be more hustle and bustle around here in times to come. The completion of Canadian international school proves that it is shifting the focus of it becoming an internationally recognised area besides the city area, where most of the international schools such as the british council are concentrated within.Was this review helpful?
