Luxury property developer SC Global Developments is releasing the final phase of its Martin No.38 apartment at Martin Road in the River Valley area this weekend, almost nine years after the project was launched in September 2008.
This comes just one week after the 450-unit Martin Modern condominium was launched in nearby Martin Place, and amidst improved market sentiment.
Close to 90 percent of the 88 apartments at the 15-storey freehold project have been sold. It comprises mainly one-plus-one bedroom, two- and three-bedroom units ranging from 969 sq ft to 1,485 sq ft.
The latest phase of Martin No.38 includes the release of two penthouses with private pools and roof terraces.
SC Global declined to reveal the asking prices of units, but agent listings on PropertyGuru show that prices start from $2.38 million for a 969 sq ft two-bedder, which works out to about $2,456 psf.
Designed by Singapore-based Kerry Hill Architects, Martin No.38 was inspired by New York’s trendy warehouse lofts.
Since its completion in 2011, the project has won several awards including the Best Housing Project (Completed Developments) at the World Architecture Festival in 2012 and The Presidents Design Award that same year.
Other completed projects by SC Global include The Marq on Paterson Hill and Seven Palms Sentosa Cove – Singapore’s only beachfront condominium.
