NBA’s newest superstar Jeremy Lin has moved into a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment at The Residences at W New York – Downtown (pictured), the only hotel in Manhattan, New York that offers private residences for sale.

“I love the W Hotel in Taipei, so I liked the idea of living in the only W Residence in New York,” said Lin, adding that the apartments “have great hotel-style amenities and it’s a nice place to come home to with amazing views.”

The apartment is a fully furnished 1,182 sq ft unit, with views of the Statue of Liberty, Hudson River, the National September 11 Memorial & Museum and the new World Trade Center.

The building offers 217 guest rooms on the lower floors and 223 contemporary designed residences from the 33rd to 56th floors.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Jeremy to The Residences at W New York – Downtown,” said Matthew Moinian, from the Moinian Group, the developer behind the project.

The Residences at W New York – Downtown is being managed by premiere lifestyle brand W Hotels and offers furnished and unfurnished studios as well as one and two-bedroom condos.

Prices range from US$1.3 million (S$1.63 million) to US$3 million (S$3.78 million), while pricing of penthouses are available upon request.
