Wing Tai (China) Investment Pte Ltd, a property investment arm of Wing Tai Holdings Limited, has inked a joint venture (JV) agreement with Singbridge Guangzhou Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Singbridge International Singapore Pte Ltd, to jointly develop a housing project in the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City.
“We are pleased to partner Singbridge on this exciting project, to contribute to the visionary development of the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City,” said Ms. Tan Hwee Bin, Executive Director of Wing Tai Holdings.
The residential project — which is 40 percent owned by Wing Tai — will be built in phases on a 10 ha site over five years. Situated next to the current Jiulong Dadao, the development will be designed by architects Foster + Partners. The residential project will offer practical smart technologies, to improve the lifestyle conveniences of its residents.
“With a gross floor area (GFA) of more than 268,000 sqm, we are looking forward to designing and creating an exceptional living and working environment in the Guangzhou Knowledge City,” said Ms. Tan.
“It will be beautifully landscaped, to comprise about 2,000 quality residential units and a signature 3,000 sqm clubhouse with modern facilities and exhibition capacity, and which will achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum standard.”
She added that the development will be “one that the Guangzhou Knowledge City will be proud to showcase.”
