Grand Park Orchard, a flagship property of Park Hotel Group, is set to open in July after an $80-million makeover.
The five-star 308-room hotel located at Orchard Road was formerly known as Park Hotel Orchard. Room rates are expected to be about $350 per night.
With its eight-storey-tall media wall, Grand Park Orchard will bring more sparkle to the shopping belt. It will also include more food and beverage outlets in the area, with an all-day restaurant, Open House, serving dim sum, pizzas, claypot dishes, sandwiches and roast meat; the Champagne Bar serving Veuve Clicquot cocktails; and the Onyx Bar.
Shoppers can also look forward to the opening of Knightsbridge, a four-storey retail podium at Grand Park Orchard.
Knightsbridge has been positioned by Park Hotel Group as a space for luxury brands, and it will soon disclose the names taking residence.
It said that it has accepted pre-commitments for over 50 percent of the space so far.
Grand Park Orchard “represents the aspirations of the group as we scale the heights to be the leading hospitality chain in the Asia-Pacific,” said Allen Law, director of Park Hotel Group.
The hotel owner, manager and developer has a number of properties across three countries; including Singapore’s Park Hotel Clarke Quay and Grand Park City Hall.
