CDL to launch new condo on Copthorne Orchid Hotel site

19 Oct 2010

City Developments Limited (CDL) is expected to launch The Glyndebourne, a proposed freehold condo project slated to be developed on the Copthorne Orchid Hotel site, as early as next week.

Some market watchers suggest the average price for the new development could fetch around $2,000 psf, with unit sizes ranging from 690 sq ft for a one-bedder with study to 3,563 sq ft for a five-bedroom penthouse.

Earlier this month, it was reported that the closure of the Copthorne Orchid Hotel had been delayed by at least three months, and instead of shutting down at the end of this year, it will continue to take bookings until March next year.

CDL is marketing the proposed condo on behalf of its hotel unit Millennium & Copthorne Hotels.
