What should I do if the the agent which I had engaged had done a mispresentation of my financial calculation for selling of my 4 rm flat. Initially I was told that I'll get a profit of $11k but after submission to HDB had taken place, abt a month later before the HDB 1st apptment, I was informed that it's actually negative sale & i've to top up abt $18k. But the agent involved does not want to be responsible for that mispresentation. Now I've got no choice but to proceed to sell off my flat to avoid any legal issues against me if I were to withdraw. I've already ask them for advice but they told that they could not do anything about it. Could I take legal action against the agent?
