My old landlord sold the house to a new guy 2 months before our end of contract (so 22 months with old landlord and 2 months with new). The house was sold with tenancy and as is. The new landlord is now blaming all the issues with the house on us (including some stuff the old landlord acknowledges existed).
From a legal perspective, can the new landlord do that? I heard the statute of limitations is after 3 months. Can someone help?
