Is it usual to have this statement under the Good Faith Deposit Terms and Conditions : "In the event this offer is accepted and the tenant fails to execute the tenancy agreement before the said commencement date, the good faith deposit submitted herewith shall be forfeited to the Landlord and thereafter neither party will have any claim against the other."
With this statement, if I can't come to terms with some of the conditions in the TA and agent/owner keep delaying until the earlier agreed contract start date, won't i be @ owner/agent's mercy and will not have any way of backing out of the tenancy contract?
