Most new projects will be well touched up upon handover, you only need to do minimal renovation. Probably buying furnitures and lights will suffice, maybe 20k is a good ballpark figure.

For new condos or EC, you will need to spend minimally on renovation before you can move in as all the wardrobes, lighting and electrical points, kitchen and toilets have already been done.

You just need to get your furniture and install the lights and curtains and you will be able to move in.
