In my view prices are really high now for property though I'm only just ready to buy. Would it be silly to buy now or are prices expected (based on general understanding of the market) to go down in the next year or so and it would be more prudent to wait? Would like to hear opinions of those working in the market.

Buying properties will never be a silly decision. Property investment is the best investment tool as it hedge against inflation. In my humble opinion, there’s no peak, as in time to come, it will surpass the peak. Whether it is for your own stay or for investment, if you have the holding power, why not invest in a property now?

Many people are afraid to miss the boat as they had already missed it several times. Sale transactions are still accelerating and property prices are still increasing on a gradual basis after rounds of cooling measures in the past years.

It’s likely that there will be cooling measures coming up. It may become even more difficult to own a 2nd, 3rd or 4th property.

Let me know how I can help you with to choose a right property.
