Hi, I have a HDB flat which I own for over 30 years and I have completed my 5 year MOP. My son purchased a new HDB flat with extra ballots under Married Child Priority Scheme (stay near to parents), and under that scheme I am not allowed to sell my HDB flat for 5 years. Can I book an EC now, which will TOP after the 5 years end so I will be eligible to sell my HDB at that time?

Morning,

Upon signing the documents at HDB, the officers should have advised that you are not to move out of the particular estate or take interest on any other private property, within the 5 years limit, am I right?

Selection for an EC is consideration of interest hence you will have to wait for another 5 years.
