Hi!

I bought a resale HDB loan at Valuation Price $480k. Am taking a HDB loan. And would be getting total CPF grant of $80k.

Understand that the CPF grant would be credited into my CPF account and thus used to offset the purchase price.

Do Understnd that I can only use my CPF up to Valuation Limit which in my case is $480k. Anything above $480k would have to be paid in cash.

Does the CPF grant amount be considered as a CPF withdrawal thus affecting my Valuation Limit of how much I can use my CPF?

Thanks

Good morning,

As you are aware, you can only utilize your CPF OA for purchase of property not more than the valuation value. Since the housing grant are credited into your CPF before they are being utilize for the payment on your unit, the answer is quite clear.
