Hi I am just wondering how are the mrt noise levels around the city vue block stack in 96B that is close to 96A? I realize the train is going underground around that area, so how much of the train noise can you hear? I live in Australia so I can't tell. Thanks.

Hi Ricky,

It depends on individual noise tolerance of the unit that you are intending to stay. I would advise if possible for yourself to visit the house before you make the decision. If you are afraid of noise, i would propose to stay a few blocks away so that the noise will not affect you and your family. Staying near MRT has it's pros and cons which you might have to consider after viewing the unit.

Please feel free to contact me for non-obligation discussions and i will assist you for searching your ideal house.

Thank you.

The building has not even been built, so there is no way I visit it. These are units for en-bloc residents. From what I have read and based on my own experience, as long as you can see the track, you will be able to hear it, it does not matter how far you stay. However the building stack on the left blocks the above-ground track. The only part which is visible, from the unit I am interested in, is the underground part. I was hoping someone who knows the area well would be able to fill in the details, as to how much of the noise can be heard compared to, say, the noise levels at the condos nearby the mrt station.
