Hi

I am a Singaporean and under "OTHERS" by race, my wife is under "MALAY". Does this option mean that we are eligible to either race as a BUYING ETHNIC factor. This purchase will be utilising my wife's CPF and CPF Monthly contribution.

Please advice on our eleigibility options.

Hi Mr Castilo,

You are the main applicant (applicant 1) and your wife applicant 2. As such, it will be under the "others" ethnic group. Your wife being a co-applicant could still utilise her CPF to service the loan.
An appeal can be forwarded to HDB if for some reason you prefer the ethnic group for your flat to be under "Malay".
