1) BTO: Build To Order. These are the new flat selling by HDB. Household income kept to $12k.
2) Resale: Sell by existing owner. HDB portal is explaining the process and grants available for group of SC/PR who can't wait for few years or even 'luck' to come by to be selected for the BTO.
3) DBSS: Design Build Sales Scheme. These are design, build and sell by developer. The design is closely resemble of the private where majority of the reno are ready. Only lightings and furniture are needed to shift in. Household income kept to $12k.
4) EC: Executive Condominium. These are for SC/PR whose household income>$12k but <$14k. Exactly the same as private, in fact, it would automatic privatise upon reaching 10 years. Meaning can sell to foreigner. The above 3 types are still following HDB eligibility.
5) SBF: Sales of Balance Flat: These are flats bounce out from BTO, meaning no taker. Household income kept to $12K.
6) ROF: Re-Offer of Balance Flat: These are flats bounce out from SBF exercise. Household income kept to $12K.
7) Buy a new HDB is refer to HDB BTO/SBF/ROF.
