Hi. I am a 36 years old single Singaporean citizen intending to buy a 3 room flat to live with my mom and younger sister (aged 30) as occupier. My current HLE amount is only 63k and my CPF is 63k. I am earning 2.5k per month. I intend to buy a 3 room flat in Jurong.

1) As my mom is an occupier, am i able to use her CPF to top up?
2) Can i be eligible for the grants - Singles, EHG & Proximity?
3) If i am still short on finance, what other options can i consider?

I am currently living in a rental flat for the past 4 years, paying $2k/month. The end of the lease is on Sept 2022. I intend to buy a 3 room flat for me, my mom and my sister at least by June 2022. Can you advise me further?

Thank you.

Hi
I fully understand your concern. As a singles, you are eligible for $25k Singles grant, estimated $20k EHG grant and $15k PHG grant which place your budget at a maximum of $180k. This is too low of a budget to purchase any resale at the moment. I have assisted various buyers similar to your case and budget can be increased by appealing for higher HLE, purchase under public scheme and gets a full grant provided your mom is a first timer or like what you suggested top up using your mom CPF but she needs to be listed as the owner. In order to advise you on the various options available, I will need more information in regards to you and your family profile. I would really like to assist you on this just like what I have done with my other clients with low budget. Do contact me at 93375051  for a free and non obligatory discussion on this.
