Hi, it is a market practice that for 2 years lease, landlord would insist on collecting 2 months worth of security deposit. As 2 years is a long time and in the event of major breakdown or due to unforeseen circumstances, the 2 months of deposit with you would help to minimise some losses. Pls feel free to let me know should you need any assistance.
