Hello,

I'm a Singaporean, below 35 year old, my spouse is a Malaysian, who has property parked under his name, as his parents are not allowed to have properties parked under their names, due to legal reason.

Is there any way we can still buy resales HDB ?

Hi Ms,

If the property your spouse own is used for his parents own stay, you could write in to appeal to HDB to allow him to continue holding to the overseas property after your HDB purchase.

HDB may require some documents from him, and approval is on a case-by-case basis.
