Hello. I have been renting a place for three years but just a month before my lease is ending, the bathtub cracked. According to my tenancy agreement, I am only supposed to pay up to $150 for minor repairs, and anything above and beyond will be burdened by the landlord. The landlord's agent is now arguing that I need to pay for the whole cost of replacement will cost more than $1000.
It's hard for me to prove that the damage happened due to the bathtub being old, so what can I do in this scenario?
