It depends on the development.
In Geylang there are usually 2 types of accomodation,
1st is that of dormitories where each bedroom unit can take 4 persons @ $200/pax, thus a 3 bedroom unit will be able to fetch about 2 x 4 x 200 = $1,600 + ($1,000 master bedroom premium) = $2,600.
If it is a high end condo like Atrium, also on the same street, 3 bedroom units are asking as high as $3,500/mth.
If you are interested, as an alternate investment, Huttons has a new launch coming on that street itself within the month. Rental yields projected at 6%. We sold out a similar project on Lor 26 last month.
