Opened in 2017, the mall is part of a mixed-use residential and commercial development together with Nine Residences. For those with a sweet tooth, there is San Gloo located on the second floor. San Gloo specialises in shaved ice bingsu, and you get to choose from 26 different flavours. What’s more, prices start at only $4.90.
If you’re craving something different, Wimi Ice Cream sells coconut ice cream along with a wide range of toppings. At just $4.90, you get a scoop of coconut ice cream served on a halved coconut husk, along with 3 toppings of your choice. How do I get to Junction 9?
Junction 9 is located at the junction of Yishun Avenue 9 and Yishun Ring Road. If you are driving you will need to take the SLE and take Exit 3 for Lentor Avenue. The nearest MRT is Yishun MRT Station. If you are travelling by bus, you can take buses 811, 860, 860A to Yishun Temporary Interchange, or 803, 804, 860 to opposite Block 314 at Yishun Ring Road.
What other amenities are near Junction 9?
For starters, there is Northpoint City close by. Previously known as Northpoint Shopping Centre, the mall’s new name is fitting given its sheer size and its array of dining, retail, and leisure options. If you are in the mood for sports, SAFRA Yishun has a wide range of recreational facilities such as pools, an indoor air weapons range, a tennis court, and an adventure sports centre. There is also Yishun Park, Sembawang Shopping Centre, and Canberra Shopping Centre in the area.
Those wanting to get away from the crowd can head over to Seletar Aerospace Park. Situated around Seletar Airport, the area is known for its eclectic mix of cafes and restaurants.
