breeze on higher ground

The Hillside has been my home for the past 2yr and counting. one thing I still appreciate everyday is the view. Becuz the condo sits on higher ground, thr's plenty of breeze and i dun hv another condo looking straight into my unit. lemme tell u, hvg my morn kopi on the balcony is really shiok. Beauty World MRT is within walking distance altho coming back is uphill, so consider it free exercise... not so much fun when i'm hauling groceries but im someone who enjoys a quieter lifestyle and doesn't mind abit of walking, honestly v underrated here

one of nicer condos at BT

2001 development. one of nicer landscaping condos at BT. Hillside estate itself is very spacious and doesn't have that packed sardines feeling like newer projects we viewed. over e years I've seen quite a few improvements around the estate too. mgmt upgraded certain areas and the security team is frenly. common areas generally clean and lots of mature trees so the whole place stays cool even in our hot weather. nt fanciest but defo feels like hme to me!

natural selection

We chose The Hillside in 2005. or would i say The Hillside chose us? we had wanted somewhere near nature for our children and it's been a great decision. but it was our love for nature and usual walks at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and nearby parks that led us to wanting to buy a condo here and just nice our friend told us they were moving out and asked if we wanted to takeover their unit here. nowdays, weekend hikes have become part of our routine. even the condo itself has lots of greenery and open space for younger kids to explore if i'm stuck WFH instead of just staring at screens all day. hardly any traffic noise and immensely peaceful
