  I am interested to rent a whole unit. Just wondering the monthly rent stated in the listing does it includes water and electricity bills or separate? What other fees are expected that is not included in the monthly rent stated. Kindly advise. Thanks

  Do owners of J Gateway think they are selling a freehold District 9, 10 or 11 property? Their asking prices in propertyguru just doesn't make any sense, especially when (1) it is an HDB condo which is surrounded by HDB flats, (2) it is only 99yr leasehold and (3) it is not situated in any prime district.

  The asking price of close to $3 million for a 1500sqft unit can buy a freehold landed terrace in a better district with excess cash for 2 brand new Mercedes Benz C-class. Why would anyone pay this price for a unit at J Gateway?

  I am wondering why this project is priced so high when it is surrounded by HDB flats? If the location is indeed a strong factor in the pricing of properties in the area, why are the surrounding HDB flats still selling cheaply?

  With prices of condos falling, it seems to be a buyers market now, with many 3 bedroom older 99yr leasehold condos in the west going for under 900k. With the hype of Jurong Lake District fizzling out, owners ought to reduce their expectations and be realistic with the pricing. This must be the worst project to invest in the west now in terms of pricing, do you agree?

  I think it is utter madness spending $800k to 1 million on a 400+sqft 99yr leasehold condo in an area surrounded by HDB flats in far flung Jurong town. I personally think this condo is grossly overpriced. Is there any justification why this is a good investment in terms of capital gains and rental?
