    I wish to write in to HDB to appeal and sell my flat before MOP. The main reason for the appeal is so that I can buy a bigger house to accommodate my elderly parents and take care of them. Currently, they are staying with my brother who plans to have children soon. There won't be enough space/rooms as we will also likely be hiring a caretaker in the future to look after them.     Hello Gurus, I'm selling my 4rm HDB in Bukit Batok and wondering about the commission for my agent. If it's one agent handling the buying & selling, will he be getting commission from both buyers & sellers? If so, what is considered a reasonable % for each party to pay?? Hypothetically, if I'm selling my place @ 400K, what is considered a reasonable amount for the commission? My agent said 2% but I feel it's a bit too much. Any advise appreciated! Thank you!

    I have a fully paid 3-room HDB flat at Bukit Batok which is currently rented out with a net rental income of $1500 per month. The cost of the flat is $205,000 while the current SRX value is $287,000. The flat was fully paid by CPF. I have given the option to buy a resale condo at the price of $1.27m. Before exercising the option, I need to decide whether to sell the HDB flat within 6 months to cash out (actually the $287,000 will go back into CPF account) and get the refund of 10% ABSD or keep the HDB flat for rental income at the cost of 7% ABSD. The flat was built in 1984 and has 66 years lease left. I am looking forward to your professional advice. Thanks.

    Hi, I am a new Singapore citizen, now 29 years-old single. I saw HDB has resale flat schemes for non-sc family and non-sc spouse. I am getting married in begin 2019. Therefore, I am considering to buy a resale either with my parent now or waiting until marriage to buy house with my wife. Both my wife and parent should hold LTVP only. 1/ Are there any difference in benefit between the two schemes? Should I wait till 2019 or just go ahead to apply hdb with my parent now? 2/ if my co-applicant LTVP expires before HDB documentation completes, I will need to renew LTVP. How long does it take to renew? Will it affect my HDB application? Thanks for the advices.
