It is a 15 to 20 minutes’ walk to its nearest MRT station – Braddell on the North South Line, though the development is surrounded by a number of eateries. A number of arterial roads in the vicinity mean getting away by car is a fairly easy task. By far the biggest thing going for Gem Residences however is the hotel type concept that it has. Somewhere in the grey area between a hotel and a condominium, Gem Residences offers an array of features and services that would be impressive in an extremely high end development. With regards to the MRT, Gem Residences is not quite as convenient, located where it is in between Braddell and Toa Payoh stations. Neither are particularly close, Braddell is slightly nearer to the development but it is still a 15 to 20 minute walk. Once on the train things improve.
