My first rental apartment
I’ve just finished my studies and got a job. With limited resources, I wanted to rent a 1-bedroom unit, but every place I looked, the 1-bedders were nothing more than shoeboxes. Gem Residences was a breath of fresh air, with 452 sq ft suites designed to optimise space. It feels roomier than it actually is, even when I have a few of my friends over for game nights. It’s functional, and as long as I don’t hoard stuff, the space is not going to feel small. -

Lucky catch
I moved into Gem Residences as soon as the project was completed. Renting out an apartment in a brand new property has been my strategy for the past decade because you always find the houses to be in the best shape and there are no issues with maintenance. Gem Residences is also very convenient as there are a slew of restaurants, shopping malls, schools and healthcare facilities nearby. Even the amenities on offer are on par with the current batch of new launches in Singapore. -
