Sengkang General Hospital (SKH) and Sengkang Community Hospital are located on opposite sides of Cheng Lim LRT. Opened for business as of August 2018, the hospital provides not just jobs, but quality healthcare for people living in the area. Read more about Sengkang Hospital here.
Sengkang Polyclinic is located within Sengkang Community Hub along Sengkang East Way and Sengkang Square, just across the road from Sengkang Station. It also has an X-ray and Mammograph centre.
Sengkang Durian Festival
Once a year, typically in July, the Sengkang Central Durian Festival is organized and held at the Sengkang Community Club. Tickets are usually on sale a few months before the festival. The Sengkang Community Club FaceBook page is the place to visit for more community information.
Sengkang Community Centre/Club
Located in Sengkang Central, the community centre is a hub for residents in Sengkang. It houses a neighbourhood police centre, a Singapore Post Office, a SingHealth polyclinic, People’s Association community club, a women’s and children’s clinic and various other amenities, including sports facilities.
Sengkang Swimming Complex
Sengkang Swimming Complex is part of the Sengkang Sports Centre situated in the Anchorvale Community Club. About a five-minute walk from Farmway LRT, the complex is managed by ActiveSG and is opened from Tues to Sundays, including public holidays from 8am-9.30pm.
Sengkang Wet Market
Sengkang Wet Market is situated along Sengkang E Road and Sengkang Square. It’s within walking distance from Sengkang Station. The wet market is also alongside the Kopitiam and Velan Mini Super Mart.
