Sin Ming Avenue consists of the oldest housing blocks in Bishan that were constructed as housing to accommodate the surrounding industrial estate. Nowadays, the town is mainly a residential area. It is known for the distinctive and colorful sloped roofs and link way structures of the town found on many of the housing blocks that evoke images of ‘pavilions on the green’. The name and the design inspiration of the town are derived from the earlier location of the ‘Pavilions on the Jade Hills’ or Peck San Theng cemetery. The developers first two, 30-storey HDB blocks were built in Bishan.
Sing Ming Avenue is one of the oldest residential streets in Bishan. It has several residential as well as executive units. The units also have 3 bedrooms, 4 bedrooms, 5 bedrooms layouts and are perfect for buyers who want to rent it.
