(1) Great location & highly convenient to get to places in Singapore
- Near town/city. Takes about 8 mins drive to reach Orchard, 15 to reach CBD (without any traffic)
- Many public transport options. Good location to get cabs (usually less than 5 min's wait during peak hours). Bus stop is less than 30 sec's walk with direct buses to Orchard, CBD and to Novena/Newton MRTs
- Novena MRT is only 3 bus stops away or 20 mins'leisure walk
(2) Many amenities nearby
- Hawker Centers
- Wet Market/Supermarkets
- Shaw Balestier (with restaurants, NTUC and Cinema)
- Zhongshan Mall (F&B and NTUC)
- HomeTeam club with KTV, F&B and facilities
- Childcare & learning centres
- Hospitals and clinics
- Temples/Churches
(3) Good & famous food
- Balestier is famous for good food (fish head steamboat, Hokkien prawn noodle, rojak, bak ku teh, chicken rice, Durians! and many more.
(4) Fireworks
- City facing units will enjoy fireworks displays from the National Stadium and Marina floating platform
Cons:
(1) High maintenance fees (carpark not included)
(2) Fees payable for booking of BBQ pits and function room
(3) No special lots for residents (carpark is opened to public as The Mezzo is a mixed commercial/residential project and always pack during weekends)
(4) Limited choice of primary school (only Balestier Hill Primary school is within 1km)
