A very convenient and practical location
I stay here since 2011. A condo with nice layout as well as convenience.
For this location, it is already good and I am expecting it to get better. The downtownline will be ready by 2016-2017. The station is within walking distant. Around 4-5 mins walk. Going to town and Changi Business Park is going to be very convenient. Also to Tampines Central, just one stop.
There is a bus stop directly outside the main gate. A secondary school is opposite so a pedestrian crossing is right outside too.
The space is generous. Even a coach bus can turn into this development. How many condos have that kind of space now?
Swimming pool is decent in size with swimming lessons on Sat and Sun. Certain blocks are away from pool. So their ground floor units are away from the swimming crowd. Very peaceful.
One advantage is the Tampines Mart, which is just beside the development. It has 24hr McDonald, 24hr Kopitiam, airconditioned food court(also kopitiam), Giant, wet market, Harvey Norman, hair salon, SKP, Chen Kang massage, 2 mobile phone shops, Watson, Guardian, Unity, KFC, Pizza Hut, Subway, Prima Deli, Pet Lover Center, music school, dentist, clinic, childcare and many other small shops. Basically, just walk out, grab your groceries and walk back. How many private property has this?
The management is not first class, but reasonable.
I have seen many development around Tampines/Simei and I must say The Eden is considered well maintained.
Residents here are mixed with tenants and owners. The are caucasians, koreans, japanese, chinese, indians and philippinos, etc. Many air crews stay here too as it is only 5 mins to airport.
I must say I love this place as I enjoy the convenient of government housing, in a private property.
