Very convenient location with about 4 minutes
Very convenient location with about 4 minutes walk to Nex Shopping Mall and Serangoon MRT station. Within the condo, it feels like a mini resort. -

Peaceful & Convenient
Well maintained estate with good landscape (incl. rare facility like tennis courts!). Excellent location with 2 MRT lines just at the door step (save at least 30min per round trip and $$, of course!). Super convenient with a big shopping mall (Nex) just across the road with walk way mostly covered (no worry for rain or too sunny :)). Surrounding is quiet & peaceful especially for units facing the landed houses. Unblock beautiful city view and always have the luxury of viewing NDP fireworks and air parade from home! It is also near to the Braddell ht CC where yoga lesson is popular there. Children can also join the karate course at the basket ball court just next to it! An excellent place for staying & living. -

Home and Investment
If you consider location and amenities, Sunglade is one of the best place for your home or as an investment. Good connectivity with Circle Line, Bus Interchange, North East MRT Line. sharing of amenities with HDB heartlanders. The Management Committee and Management Agent are doing a great job. Good ambience and environment for families, students, expats and all. -

Home Resort
I have been staying here for the past 5 years. I really love this development, especially the landscaping and overall design. Despite the fact that it is nearly 10 year-old, it is in a much better state than most other developments i have seen that are as old. The location is also fabulous with NEX mall, great food in Serangoon Gardens, and really convenient public transportation. It usually takes less than 30 min to get to town with Bus, 20 min with MRT or car. Definitely a great investment. -

2 MRTs and 1 mall within 5 mins' walk
I have been living in Sunglade for over 7 years. When my family first moved in, we thought the bedrooms are quite small. But after seeing other (and more expensive) newer condos like the nearby Scala - 1 mrt station away, we are thankful that our rooms are not as small. We are looking for another property to invest in, but it is hard to find a place that can beat the benchmarks set by Sunglade - 5 mins walk to two mrts (Circle line and the Northeast line), 3 to 5 mins walk to Nex shopping mall which is opening in 3 months' time, many good eating places nearby such as Chomp Chomp, serangoon gardens, and a food street. Children can even attend a primary and secondary school which are also only 5 mins walk away. No need to worry about them crossing roads every day to school as the schools are on the same side of the road. The condo is quite quiet as it does not face the main road. One downside to Sunglade is that the pool is very irregularly shaped and not suitable for serious swimmers. The 2 tennis courts are under-used and we hope they can be converted to other uses. The gym is too small with only 2 treadmills. I would rather doing my jogging in the nearby Bradell private estate. Overall, it is hard to find such a good location at a reasonable price. -

Reasonable Pricein Excellent Location
After months of scouting, I decided to buy a unit here cos: 1) Reasonable price <$700 psf 2) Excellent location - MRT door step 3min walk - choice of Circle Line or Purple NE line. Plus Bus Interchange (5mins) 3) Excellent location - MegaMall right in front (2nd largest, after Vivo) ready mid 2010...Isetan, Starbucks, etc. 4) Excellent location - ChompChomp Food nearby 5) 2-level basement carpark - each owner/tenant gets 2 free lots. 6) Nearby pri/sec schools & Nanyang JC 7) Resort-style swim pool & jogging track around condo. 8) Windy - most units N-S facing Not-so-good points: 1) Condo Exit - only left turn 2) May have jam due to Megamall - depends on its entrance. 3) Indicriminate drivers to Megamall coming to Sunglade to park free. 4) Lap swimming difficult 5) Under utilised facilities - Karaoke room, Taiji corner, koi pond, relexology footpath. 6) No safe walkway to entrace; walk along road Overall, excellent amenities & nearby MRT are imp. factors for many ppl. -

Convenient Shelter
Will be moving in couple of months time. Fell in love with the surroundings, convenience in travelling (via public transport, car), lotsa good food around the area, full condo facilities, close proxmity to my parents n ILs etc, except that the exterior painting (pale-yellow paint) of Sunglade always looks worn out to me. Maybe the management can consider repainting the whole condo since it's been abt 5 yrs now? n Probably a steamroom would be good too...Other than that, i am a very satisfied Sunglader..:) -
