near CBD
Spottiswoode Suites is close to CBD, good and centrally located with many cafes near me. this also means from the high floors i have a unblocked view of the city, especially downtown core including sentosa and greenery. compact units, facilities quite good too. no complaints, location is the most superb. -

warmth of the city
living at Spottiswoode Suites does come with some concessions, but hear me out. located in primetime central singapore, it's a given that space is expensive so units are small, but they do a good job with efficient loft layout. high density of buildings and proximity to forested area also means it's somewhat a heatsink so can be humid... just switch on the aircon and use dehumidifier, on the plus side it's hydrating for skin. no dry skin issues like when i was living overseas. otherwise, build quality, facilities, location, all winners for me. -

outdoor jacuzzi
rented here for awhile and the outdoor jacuzzi was sibei shiok. nightlife splendid also, and tons of cafes for maximum caffeine fix. close to my workplace too. moved somewhere less luxurious now to save up for my wedding and future offspring expenses if not my gf will scold me -

Not Worth the High Rent – Constant Noise and
Facilities like the pool, barbeque area, and tennis court are always closed for maintenance. There seems to be numerous never-ending maintenance work going on almost all year round. The noise from nearby construction sites can be quite disruptive, and given all these issues, the rent feels unreasonably high. -

You pay premium for facilities only find out that most of the time they are not available due to maintenance -

Perfect City Living
The best blocks in the central district for the view, convenience. Living in the city yet away from the hustle and bustle. Yet nestled among top famed cafes like Kith cafe, Plain Vanilla , and famous local dessert shops, cake shops, Nylon Coffee, Populus restaurant, Korean street on Tanjong Pagar and 100AM Don Don Donki! You get it! No doubt the best hidden secret of living within 5 mins of CBD. Great for all Families or singles. New Cantonment MRT (open in 2026) and the famous Green Corridor just round the corner! Life just begun! -

Small layout with tiny kitchens
I stayed here as a rental and the design of the penthouse was really bad. The walls are mostly glass so it gets very hot at certain times of the year. You just cannot seem to escape from the sun. The condo is also very small. The kitchen is tiny, and the layout simply does not make sense. The only good thing is its proximity to Outram MRT and bus stations. But there are far better places to live for the price you are paying. You are also close to the highway so you can hear traffic if you don’t have your aircon on. -
