I live in Silversea and it's great here. I wonder any of the negative comments are written by people who live here? the windows are all well sealed when closed and so there is minimal traffic noise. I don't care if other like it or not really but I have lived in 3 different condos and this is by far the best. one negative which I have to agree is traffic... the MRT can't come soon enough! -

Nice n convinient place with good facilities
Very convenient location with easy access to the East Coast park , parkway parade and Katong. Lots of options for food . Amenities is very good with lots of place to have gatherings and lots of pools to relax . Good mix of people . Units are good with lot of balcony space which is very good especially if you have kids . My kids enjoy playing there . -

Nice to look at, Bad to live in
Silversea has caught much attention when it was first launched. Being next to the beach, it offers fantastic seaview. The design and outlooks also appeal to many. While everything seems too good to be true, Silversea is almost non-liveable. Being near the beach also means its way too close to the freeway/highway for comfort. In fact, the noise/air pollution is way beyond acceptance level. You will practically feel yourself staying "on top" of the highway. The inner facing units facing Marine Parade Rd are not spared from the traffic noise either and has west sun facing. While Silversea is no doubt one of the best looking project around, it is afterall at best a prized possession that a person would like to own, and its definitely not practical to stay/live in. I doubt it will be popular with tenants too. Tenants nowadays are way too smart to set priority between having a nice view and having a peaceful stay or one which they have to suffer 24/7 without any decent or proper rest. -

Noisy and Dusty
I was keen in this project as it has a very grand facade. Unfortunately the moment I stepped in, my impression took a drastic change. No doubt the higher floor units have fantastic views, the noise level is beyond my acceptance. The inner facing units are not spared either as I could constantly hear the traffic noises. There are too many units on a small plot of land. Facilities are undersized. Walking distance to parkway parade isn't as near as what I have imagined as the gate is located very far away. Not a good place for a relax stay. Avoid if you cannot stand noise. -

There's pain in Heaven on earth
As a Singaporean deprived of having a seaside home, this project scores top marks for the grounds, pools and the splendid sky promenades. . However, signing on the dotted line for a 2Million dollar home without a sea view and a lot less space than my current home begs for a really calm and collected reasoning that goes beyond the initial showflat entrapment. With a pin prick to wake me up, I pass. (Not for those where the moolah does not come easy.) -

good but too pricey
The location though one of the best in the east is the expensive and unrealistic for locals and only mainly foreigners go for it as investments.should consider other areas like where it is cheaper and only than 1k per sqft.Also poor concept like so call 'dining style' is poor and disappointing -

Silversea the best project in the east
Silversea is the best project. i have see the size, facilities, layout, balcony, impressive. The project that maybe that only can compare with sentosa cove.... If i got money i will buy this project,,,,,, -
