High Street Centre near Clarke Quay is such a wonderful location with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. Since moving in, I’ve not needed my car and I am now planning to sell it. The building has 24-hour security too, giving me peace of mind. My older son now goes to Columbia Business School, which is not too far away from where we live. The Clarke Quay and City Hall MRTstations are a short walk away.

Unfolding the future
I’ve owned a condo unit at High Street Centre since the early 80s. We lived there for over two decades and saw the lovely Singapore skyline evolve in front of our eyes. We have since moved to a luxury condo on Orchard Road and now rent out our apartment at High Street Centre. The tenants are very happy with the place, especially with the shopping and dining establishments in the vicinity and its proximity to Clarke Quay.

Cozy house
I began renting a studio apartment at High Street Centre ever since I started working at Raffles Place a year ago. The unit is cozy and beautiful with wonderful views. The owner added a massive king-size bed in the unit and there is even a functional kitchen for when I want to whip up a meal. Some friends visit often, although it does get a bit cramped when more than five people come over. Aside from that, the location is very convenient.
