Plenty of parking lots for visitors
Harbour View Towers: one of the hidden gems in the hbf area. view alone is worth it, can see Sentosa, the sea, cable cars and even parts of VivoCity from my balcony. depends on your stack. might even catch a glimpse of aircraft during National Day flypast from comfort of home. that said, every evening sitting on the balcony with the breeze... . one of my favourite parts of the day. Telok Blangah MRT is only a short sheltered walk through the side gate. VivoCity, HarbourFront and the CBD are all within mins. -

1994 spaciousness, breezy
in general, as Harbour View Towers is a 1994 project, the units of that time are much bigger than newer condos. what a bonus for families like mine! esp the living room... breezy constantly thoughout the year, and transport in a cinch too.with Telok Blangah MRT only a short sheltered walk through the side gate. VivoCity, HarbourFront and the CBD are all within minutes. Facilities are basic but complete, if not abit dated.. but I'm okay with it. has pool, tennis court, squash court and gym are all there. Plenty of parking lots too so my fiance who visits never have much issue. -

Falling Apart
Used to be a great place but condo management has become progressively worse over the last few years – the pool was off limits for over 2 months (from before Christmas to after CNY) because they did not want to pay to repair it, the side gate is constantly broken, night security goes missing so you can be stuck at the boom gate for ages. And now there is construction on both sides of the building. -

check one map and masterplan
wouldn't this condo be directly facing a huge 10+ years construction site when keppel golf club is redeveloped? -

Harbour View Towers
Rather iconic with its twin tower joined in the centre on around the 19th floor, Harbour View enjoys immediate amiantus at its doorstep with the heartland food centre and wet market. the 2 bed room can be a bit odd shape and commopn rooms can be a better small. The views for high floor units can be majestic with unblocked views of the golf course and Sentosa. -

HVT WILL BECOME VERY PRIME
When the circle line stage 6 (closing up the circle) is completed, Telok Blangah Mrt is only 2 mrt stops from Shenton Mrt & 3 mrt stops from Marina Bay Mrt. Thus, Harbour view towers will become very prime and will have very high enbloc potential.Owners are advised not to let go of their units easily -

Beautiful gem, not worth the money
HVT is really great. Especially unit photos from 800 sqft / 74 sqm (built-in). So enchanting. I am almost enchanted. However, I won't be parting with my hard earned cash here for the following reasons. 1. 99 Leasehold only. This condo is already more than 17 years old. So much more must be spent on renovation, I reckon at least $100K. With so many new condo TOP, there is no need to spend such needless money on reno. which will NOT be counted in valuation report when you sell your condo. 2. Related to point 1: Condo maintenance & repairs would be hefty soon if not already is. It is an OLD condo. Termites? Water leaks? Cracks? Outdated design? 3. If I buy it now, and it enblocs within 4 years, I have to pay stamp duty. 4. If I buy it now, and it enblocs, I don't make much at all, in view of the plot ratio & my current buying price being so high. If I buy it now, spent S$100K on reno & it enblocs ??!!! 5. The asking PSF for the smaller 800 sqft unit is S$ 1,747.50 psf - at this price I can buy a brand new Skyline Residence next door! Besides, Skyline Res is F.R.E.E.H.O.L.D! THIS IS THE MOST DECIDING FACTOR WHY THIS HVT CONDO IS NOT A WISE INVESTMENT NOW. 6. the View comes with the Noise: For home stay, home should be quiet & peaceful. 7. HVT Condo is in HDB heartland. I am not being "atas" here but the surrounding is not reflected by the asking price. At S$17xx PSF, I can buy a prime D10 condo surrounded by landed, unblocked & FREEHOLD. So, my advice to all:- Sellers, please do not sell. Enjoy HVT until it enblocs and make your many happy monies. You lucky folks! Happy Living! Buyers, please do not buy HVT. Put your money elsewhere where it can grow and multiply. We are too late. But, don't envy them; just walk away & find elsewhere where you will also be envied in time to come. Happy hunting! -

Central location with greens and sea
Where else could you have a home with greenary in front ( golf course) and behind you (Telok Blangah hill) Sea view and fireworks As chinese say.... yo san yo hai!! A stroll away from MRT , a station away from labrador park and Vivocity A short distance from workplace (CDB, Alexandra Biz PArk , Tg Pagar) -
