space a plus at Haig Court
biggest USP of Haig Court - the space. viewed quite a few newer condos around Katong before buying and the difference was significant. Here, no bomb shelter, bay windows or planter boxes (all wasting space imo). also have high ceilings that make the world of difference ( make the whole unit feel much bigger than the actual size). layout is v practical with no weird corners, Infact my family moved into Haig Court around 3 years ago mainly because we wanted a larger home without paying crazy psf prices. but... you can tell the condo is showing its age. landscaping is quite plain and the clubhouse could definitely do with a refresh. -

relaxed family atmosphere
Haig Court has a very relaxed family atmosphere. every evening i see children cycling around, families using the pool and older residents taking walks. feels lived in rather than those very quiet investment condos where all rentals and keeping to each other. complete facilities tho abit dated. swimming pool is really big and always looks clean. We use it almost every weekend. There are also two tennis courts, BBQ pits, monkey bars, a gym and function room. carpark is huge too so our friends usually have no issue finding lots. -

Katong
Location of Haig Court is very excellent. Malls like Parkway Parade, i12 Katong and PLQ are all nearby. East Coast Park is only a short drive away and there are plenty of good food options around Haig Road and Katong. east side best foodie side mah. Too bad MRT also isn't just downstairs, so I usually have to take a bus instead. The only thing I struggle with is being a dog owner. management is quite strict about where pets can walk, hope can become more understanding in future as walking outdoors in this increasing heat and humidity is soon impossible -

value D15 buy
as a freehold in D15, Haig Court is really a value buy due to its location, accessibility with bus stops, near schools and good food, and generous layouts with no wasted space that are larger than my previous condo. -

lots to do
plenty to do when staying at Haig Court until i rarely use the condo facilities (unless raining). just steps away from PCN that brings me to ecp and also close to Haig Road market for my shopping and makan. friendly community of pet owners too -

for us millennials, 2004 doesn't feel old, but oh boy it's over 20 years of age. despite this, Haig Court upgraded with a gym so it's nice with this update. -

Management hates pets, fines for walking pass
The management is likely fearful of dogs thus forcing residents to walk their dogs by the circumference of the estate/ carpark instead. The circumference is very narrow and easy to get into accidents. They’ve now instilled fines should we walk pass the pool area. Do not live or rent here if you own dogs. -

Large Freehold Value for Money Condo for Fami
Characteristics Interior Large size units with proper backyard and kitchen. Efficient layout rooms. Exterior Meh landscape. Standard facilities. Walkable to great food, wet market and supermarket. -

Gem
I have lived around the East side during the past 13 years of my stay in Singapore. This is one of the best condominiums I have stayed. Conveniently located close to the city. I cycle to work at times. Parkway Parade is a few bus stops away and Katong I12 is walkable. Super quite. Nice view. Friendly neighbours. Kids to keep my child company. Good schools and nice eating places on East Coast and Tanjong Katong road. What more can one ask for? There are no bus stops on Haig Road. But I enjoy the walk through the park to Tanjong Katong road. I hope the rentals stay low ;) The units used to be quite ex once. ~4500 for 3 BR. More affordable now. -

Best Value for a D15 Freehold
Been searching extensively for a D15 condo for over 2 years and finally settled for Haig Court. Great size and layout, perfect for families. A 1500+ sqft unit easily feels like 1800 sqft. no bay windows, planters etc. Other condos in the vicinity pale in comparison. It's next to impossible getting this layout/size at this price level, let alone Freehold in D15. The peaceful surroundings and spanking new Gym definitely an added plus! If you love Katong, this is the place to spend quality family time. Last but not least, if you love cycling and satay, park connector takes you straight to Satay by the Bay, something to do on weekends. The only minus I can think of - with all the eateries around, watching your weight will be challenging. -
