Cairnhill convenience
Cairnhill Plaza is all about convenience. in the heart of Orchard, 5min walk away from the shopping area and Paragon is practically round the block. many restos, supermkts and mrt nearby. despite that, it's relatively quiet becaus tucked away inside Cairnhill Rd. that's really the biggest adv for me. no fuss no bother about driving and getting stuck in traffic or squeezing with sweaty humans in the train or bus. also, lesser known thing is the view. my unit overlooks Orchard Road and on clear days I can even spot GbtB and the Supertrees in the distance. quite windy too because the blocks are tall and well spaced apart. -

don't under estimate
don't under estimate Cairnhill Plaza due to its age. undenaible old, but apartments are really big. infact my livingroom is bigger than the entire area of some newer units. my frien was shock. rooms also v spacious and layout makes sense, Facilities are where you can tell the condo is older. The pool has occasionally been closed for maintenance and the gym definitely isn't comparable to newer developments. exterior had a paint job where it was super whitewashed but many ppl said it's glaring, dunno overcompensate but i think it looks fine. estate is generally well maintained, plus landscaping is nice, w a beautiful koi pond and management has recently started replacing the lifts, which is a good improvement. old but gold. -

no fancy but practical town living
at Cairnhill Plaza, if you value space and location over fancy facilities, here is honestly hard to beat. not a resort style but spacious home in middle of town is a definate YES. i just renewed my lease. condo may have been built almost half century ago but it has aged surprisingly well. apts are massive and the high ceilings make everything feel even more spacious. moved here about 5 years ago because my family wanted a larger apartment near Orchard without paying crazy prices for a new development. always have our gatherings in our large living. koi pond also gives the entrance a very peacefu and huatl feeling. -

Avoid
Like many others have said, I wish someone had told me of the issues with Cairnhill Plaza management before signing a lease. This is not a family friendly condo. The pools are not operational, the playground is full of mosquitoes, there is no playroom despite being lots of space to have one) no tennis courts or other facilities and the gym equioment of old and not maintained well. Not sure what the issue is with management but they sure dont seem to be doing a great job. -

Good locations .., but old building
but it is very old building and the building always got break downs and not repaired fast. price not worth when look at other cairnhill new building. pool closes and not opened back yet, they said it will take1 yr. lobby area is not very luxurious type for this location after i see other cairnhill blocks. lift order is also not working always stop working also no fix. i choose a newer building on same location cairnhill next time. -

Terribly managed building; too high prices!
I am on a new lease. All was OK and then everything went bad. Pool has been out of order since April 2017, received notice from management that it will take ONE YEAR to fix. One lift is out of order, a man was trapped inside after lift fell unexpectedly and he was injured. Very old building where everything seems to be falling apart and management council and management agent refuse to act. It is not worth the asking prices for an old and crappy building which refuse to be fixed. Otherwise, it is a good location with many close shops nearby and near MRTs. -

CAIRNHILL PLAZA
This building is in a good location, pleasant in outlook and spacious walkways to move around. The big units esp. the ones with size 3305 sq ft, the living hall is really hugh and gives people the feeling of plenty of open space to move about in the house. However, due to the age of the building, though the building is in a high class area in Orchard Road, the facilities look outdated and needs upgrading to enhance the internal image of the building. Traffic is rather conjested but still manageable. -
