Unimpressed; enough fake reviews!
Was told that this was one of the gems in the area due to the developer, facilities and the location. And most of the reviews here are obviously by sellers' agents! After viewing, I was very disappointed, because of the configurations of the rooms. The master bedroom was barely big enough to fit a queen sized bed, and if we did, there would be no space to walk. And the master bedroom was either the same size or smaller than the common room! Also, it may just be the unit I viewed, but it was just next to Tanjong Katong road, and was very noisy, which meant that I would have to spend a bit of money to get double glazed windows, and never get to enjoy my balcony. One more thing is that Haig Road is very congested at the end where it meets Geylang Road. You will be stuck there for a long time on weekends and in the evenings or mornings. And it's not that near a walk to Paya Lebar MRT, and Tanjong Katong road is very congested in the mornings if you intend to take a bus there. For such an old development, I think the price should be much lower. I think the price is like that because of the prices of the ridiculously inflated prices at Katong Regency. As the prices of Katong Regency inevitably drop, because of the poor tenant mix of One Km, the prices of all the condos in the area will fall, and maybe then I may look at Butterworth 8 again. Otherwise, not worth it, even with the good facilities. -

Butterworth 8 lucky strike
Only tre full-condo facilities - pool, clubshouse, gymn, tennis court. It's beautiful. Peaceful. Plenty of greenary with a touch of class with the club-house "floating on the pool". Solid construction by Keppel Land and after the repainting said to be scheduled later this year, this condo does look like a gem, especially in view of the newly-launched Katong Regency 400 meters away at the former Lion City Hotel site.Some owners are waiting for the official price list before deciding to sell. -

excellent location, easy access to lots of grest food and convenience of transportation. In between 2 major expressways;ECP/PIE.Nice environment and very near to future Paya Lebar Central Commercial Hub. -

Convenience, City Fringe, MRT, Spacious, FH..
- This project layout very spacious and squarish with less than 10 year after TOP which compare to next door project which newly TOP with similar sqft. - Come with full facilities - Along Tanjong Katong (in D15)and within walking distance to Paya Lebar MRT less than 10 min from the side gate and 15min to Dakota MRT - Windy and breezy - Strong Security - Convenience. - Less than 15 min to Orchard, MBS, Shenton Way.. - Near Parkway Parade Shopping Centre/City Plaza - Nearest to Good School within 1KM - Comfortable and clean for the project compound. -

Convenient
Good and convenient place. Easy access to ECP & PIE. Very convenient to go into the city Easy access to MRT Paya Lebar & Dakota Loads eating place at Joo Chiat, Tg Katong Shopping close to Parkway Parade & recreation East Coast Park Less than 5 mins drive to Chinese Swimming Club (full facilities) -
