Shenton Way 76 building has astonishing views, easy access to transportation, lavish pool.
But starting May 2018 (and not finishing until 2019) 24h MRT construction is continuing during the night. Noise during the night is higher than during day! Often 60dBA inside the flats.
Condo poorly managed. Full of defects never attended, no proper maintain in upkeeping of property, cleaning is surface job, no cleaning at residence levels, disorderly at carpark and letter box areas, full of dirt and dusts, lots of insects and mosquitoes at pool side and safety concern at night. Melana International has been the Managing Agent, despite change of new condo manager.
Security is Triglobal, from what I understand is related company of Melana. Guards on smoking, phone gaming, reading news, eating and even sleeping are just common sight. Security is very slag and poor. Security rating of C compared to previous security firm of A rating. Security is compromised!
None of council members seem to live in 76Shenton. It is a shame.
On the plus side, all these translate to lower rental which benefits. Carpark gantry always defective also offer free parking for friends visit. All night party is accepted. Other than the nice environment, pool, infrastructure and amenities.
A beautiful condo only a few mins walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT.
The facilities are well kept and the swimming pool is amazing but unfortunately mostly shaded. Sunshine until 2:30pm max.
I had a few issues with the condo's management regarding late night nuisance, dog by the pool, litter left outside units. I have always been spoken to with a rude, defensive and aggressive behaviour.
One security man was openly racist towards 2 tenants and the expat community in Singapore. Our complaints remained unanswered and this security man never stopped working!
I do not recommend living in this condo. If you ever have the slightest issue you can be sure the management will be unhelpful and aggressive.
Units generally pretty views of the sea and city. Can be rather quiet at night after activities in the financial district ends. Can easily walk to Tanjong Pagar MRT station and easy to reach the ECP. Architectural design is quite attractive. Some units can be rather close to the expressway traffic though. Good sound proofing is a plus.
