Hi,

1. Since your current house's MOP is in August 2024, you won't be able to initiate any selling activities until then, as you're unable to register your intent to sell with HDB.
2. As you'll only turn 35 in January 2025, you won't be able to engage in any buying activities until then, as you're ineligible to apply for HFE.
For a seamless transition from selling to buying, I recommend beginning the marketing process for your current unit around November 2024. This will allow ample time to find a buyer while also giving you the opportunity to explore different areas and decide where you'd like to purchase. You can then commit to the purchase around February 2025, considering it takes approximately 3-4 weeks to apply for HFE.
