Hi dnm,

Good morning and good day to you. Pertaining to your question, I hope I will be able to clear your misunderstanding so that it will be clearer to you.

There may be many cooling measures that you may hear recently. However, there is no new requirements for condominium to purchase condominiums. The only change to a foreigner is that he will be taxed at 15% for Additional Buyer Stamp Duty (ABSD) from 12 Jan 2013 onwards instead of the previous 10%.

Hope the above clears and should you require any assistance, you may contact me directly on my email or phone.

Afternoon dnm,

There are no requirements for foreigners to purchase condo in Singapore but you will be subject to additional buyer's stamp duty of 15% due to recent 11 Jan cooling measures on top of the usual 3% buyer's stamp duty.

Hope it helps!

If you need any assistance in your property purchase, I am just a call away.

Cheers!

Warmest Regards,
