We just signed a tenancy agreement and moved into the house. There are a lots of issues including mold, cockroach infestation and not working appliances. We asked the landlord to repair or replace the broken things, and clean the mold and provide pest control. However the land lord is not willing to do this as they believe the list of things to be done is to long. We actually left things of the list (for example the house was not cleaned before we moved in). What can we do to get the landlord to rectify all of these issues? FYI the contract states tenable condition and our offer was subject to professional cleaning. With regards to the pest infestation I cleaned out over a hundred cockroach eggs and killed 1 to 2 hundred cockroaches. also, there are ants everywhere and geckos living in our apartment. we are still in the first month of our rent contract
