For reporting of such incidents, please visit this link https://www.cea.gov.sg/consumers/complaints/report-a-salesperson-estate-agent to lodge a report against the agent. In addition, did you make any payment to the landlord in this instance when you sign the agreement? Did you verify the ownership of the property before you make such payment? There has been scam cases going around for rental properties, therefore it is important to verify the identity of the agent before you get into any engagement where payment is involved.
