This is a continuation to my earlier question. Thanks for the early replies.

By mid year, I would have stayed in my Yew Tee flat for 5 years. I intend to sell it and probably get another unit in Jurong West. I intend to contra for these transactions. Can I only start transaction after my current flat turns 5 years? What would be the costs (cash) involved be like?

Hi Ross, I believe if I were to show u on paper , u will have a better picture and idea on the process and also a better understanding on the financial calculation. Hi Ross,

You can only commit a house or sell your house after the MOP is fulfilled..

You can either do a HDB contra if you are buying a bigger flat type or do a bridging bank loan if you are getting a similar or smaller flat..
