One agent, took deposit from me and never gave me house for renting. Now he is in Jail. Police investigating him for many rental scam including mine.

What are my chances of getting back my deposit?
I have all proofs and police complaint also.

Hi Rahul,

You may wish to check with a legal professional for answer to your question. I suppose that if this agent has been jailed and does not have any money to return, this amount of deposit could be as food as gone.

    Ohh My god.. He is from ERA. His name is Jarence Goh. I heard that he has done many frauds. Otherwise why would he like to stay in Jail just for my deposit.
    Any use of raising with small claims? or Police and court is at the top?
